Vermilion, IL. – One person was killed in a collision that left another injured in Vermilion early Friday morning.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 1:31 a.m. on Highway 150 between Henning Road and Interstate 74.
A Chevrolet Equinox was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it collided head-on with another car.
The driver of the eastbound car was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the second vehicle was airlifted to hospital with unknown injuries.
