Rock Island, IL. – At least one person was killed in a collision involving a dump truck on Friday morning in Rock Island.
According to the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 9 a.m. in the 14700 block of 70th Street West.
A dump truck and a pickup truck were involved in the collision.
The driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup truck driver was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
