Phoenix, AZ. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in Phoenix on Thursday.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around midnight on State Route 202 eastbound at Desert Foothills Parkway.
Two motorcyclists were riding their motorcycles at a high rate of speed when both riders failed to negotiate the ramp’s curve, lost control of their vehicles, and were ejected.
One rider was killed in the accident.
The second rider was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
