According to North Las Vegas Police, the accident happened around 1:59 p.m. at Cheyenne and Slit Canyon Street.
A man was driving an SUV westbound on Cheyenne when he collided with a construction vehicle.
The driver sent the car off the roadway and came to rest at the North Las Vegas Airport fence.
The man was killed in the collision.
The driver of the construction vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
