Lansing, IL. – One person was killed in a collision that left another injured in Lansing on Monday afternoon.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened on eastbound I-80 near Torrence Avenue, just after 4:30 p.m.
A vehicle was traveling on the highway when it rear-ended a car that had stalled in the lanes.
The vehicle that hit the stalled car was then hit by a semi-truck.
The driver of the vehicle hit by the semi was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the stalled car was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
