Lafayette County, FL. – A Dowling Park man was killed in a collision on Friday morning in Lafayette County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before noon at County Road 53 and Northwest Cairo Road.
The 78-year-old man was driving a Toyota on the highway when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a semi-truck.
The man was killed in the accident.
