Elko, NV. – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident near Elko on August 9.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened on Interstate 80 near mile marker 290 at around 5:04 p.m.
The Spring Creek man was riding a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on I-80 in the right lane when the rider went off the right side of the roadway into the dirt shoulder and vegetation.
The man was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
