Troopers said a black Tesla and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter crashed for unknown reasons.
Pompano Beach, FL. – One person was killed following a two-vehicle accident on Saturday morning in Pompano Beach, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred a while before 2:00 a.m. on southbound Interstate 95.
Troopers said a black Tesla and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter crashed for unknown reasons.
One person suffered fatal injuries due to the collision. Their name was not immediately provided awaiting notification of family.
Benz was in the right lane of Interstate 95 following the crash.
Airbags were deployed in the Tesla.
Troopers closed all southbound lanes of I-95.
An investigation is underway.
