Police said a Kia and a Chevrolet crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Iroquois County, IL. – The Illinois State Police is investigating a two-vehicle accident that killed one individual on Sunday evening in Iroquois County.
The deadly collision occurred at around 6:00 p.m. on July 27, on U.S. 24 at 200 E, near Gilman.
Police said a Kia and a Chevrolet crashed for reasons still under investigation.
The Iroquois County Coroner officer declared the Kia driver dead at the crash site.
A Kia’s passenger, the Chevrolet driver and their passenger, were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked following the accident. The lanes were reopened at about 12:15 a.m. on Monday.
No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
An investigation is underway.
