Allen County, IN – A rider was killed Wednesday evening in a motorcycle accident in Allen County, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened around 5:50 p.m. on August 20 in the 7400 block of Milan Center Road near Doty Road.
Authorities said a male rider was operating a motorcycle northbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control, drove off the roadway, and hit a mailbox and several trees.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
No additional information was available.
The police are investigating the accident.
