Lakeland, FL. – One person was killed after a train accident on Thursday evening in northwest Lakeland, Polk County, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m. on March 19, on Kathleen Road, near Spivey Road.
Authorities said a train and a truck crashed in unclear circumstances.
One person was killed in the accident. No one else was injured in the accident.
