The driver of the 2018 semi was seriously injured in the crash and airlifted to a hospital in Washington

Sherman County, OR. – One person was hospitalized after two big rigs collided on Thursday evening in Biggs Junction, Sherman County.
According to Oregon State Police, the accident happened on US 97 at around 7:10 p.m.
A 2016 Kenworth semi-truck was traveling northbound when it sideswiped a southbound 2018 Kenworth semi pulling double trailers.
The driver of the 2018 semi was seriously injured in the crash and airlifted to a hospital in Washington.
The driver of the 2016 truck was uninjured and was later arrested on charges of third-degree assault, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person.
More details about the accident were not released.
