New Baden, IL. – According to the Illinois State Police, one person was injured after a multi-vehicle accident early Friday morning in New Baden, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident happened a while after 3:10 a.m. on December 5, on westbound I-64 near milepost 30 at the New Baden exit.
Police said two vehicles and a tractor-trailer collided in unclear circumstances.
One person was hurt in the accident.
Firefighters put out a fire to the tractor-trailer following the crash.
Police shut down the inside lane of the highway following the collision.
