The pedestrian was transported to St Joseph Medical Center in critical condition
Joliet, IL. – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being injured in a collision on Wednesday night in Joliet.
According to the Joliet Fire Department, the accident happened around 7:46 p.m. on Cass Street near Youngs Avenue.
According to a preliminary investigation, the 56-year-old man was attempting to cross to the north side of the street and was hit by a Kia Forte driven by a 29-year-old man from Elwood.
The pedestrian was transported to St Joseph Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the Kia was uninjured.
