Las Vegas, NV. – A woman was critically injured in after being hit by a car on Friday evening in Las Vegas.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 7 p.m. near East Oakey and South Las Vegas boulevards.
A 2021 Ford Explorer was traveling westbound on Oakey Boulevard when it struck a woman in a crosswalk.
The 43-year-old woman was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The driver showed no sign of impairment.
