The Tesla driver, a 22-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene

Ferndale, WA. – A woman was killed in a three-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in Ferndale, according to the authorities.
The deadly collision occurred around 3:50 p.m. on January 20 on Interstate 5.
WSP said a 27-year-old Blaine man was driving a gray Chevy Silverado northbound when he crossed the median and collided with a southbound Tesla Model 3.
The Chevy came to a rest in a southbound lane where it was struck by a Hyundai Tucson.
The Tesla driver, a 22-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her passenger, also a 22-year-old woman, was taken to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham.
The occupants of the Hyundai, a 37-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman, and an 8-year-old boy from Ferndale, were not seriously injured in the accident.
WSP is investigating the accident.
