Miami, FL – A woman was killed in a collision that occurred in Miami last week on Saturday, according to the Miami Police Department.
The deadly collision happened on Northwest 47th Avenue at about 7:20 p.m. on March 15.
A vehicle was making a left turn at the intersection when it hit a police cruiser.
The impact caused the cruiser to hit two pedestrians sitting at the bus stop.
One of the pedestrians, Michelle Membreno, 23, was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center, where she was pronounced deceased.
The other pedestrian, Juana Gutierrez, was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
