Phoenix, AZ – A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a bus in Phoenix on Friday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The incident took place near Peoria Avenue and 28th Drive at about 11:40 a.m. April 12.
Michael Do, 20, was reportedly riding a motorcycle west on Peoria Avenue when he was involved in a collision with a Valley Metro Paratransit bus making a left turn onto 28th Drive.
Due to the accident, Do was taken to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities reported that DUI was not suspected to have been a factor in the incident.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
