Surprise, AZ – One man was killed after he was ejected from his vehicle in a crash early Monday morning, according to the Surprise Police Department.

Police reported that the vehicle had left the roadway, and when officers arrived, they found it empty. While searching the area, they located a man who had been ejected from the vehicle.
Authorities confirmed that the man died at the scene. No arrests were reported.
According to preliminary information, excessive speed and failing to wear a seatbelt were contributing factors in the fatal crash.
The roadway has since been reopened, and the incident remains under investigation.
