The critically injured man was flown to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville
McHenry County, IL. – A man was critically injured in a collision that happened on Tuesday morning in McHenry County.
According to the police, the accident happened around 7:59 a.m. at the intersection of Route 176 and North Union Road.
Two cars were involved in the collision.
Firefighters from Marengo Fire and Rescue Districts and the Union Fire Protection District responded to the incident and extricated one driver who was unconscious inside the car.
The critically injured man was flown to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
The driver of the second car involved was taken to Northwest Medicine Huntley Hospital with moderate injuries.
