Santa Rosa County, FL – The 18-year-old girl who was killed Monday in a head-on collision along Highway 4 in Santa Rosa County has been identified as a Baker School senior Kadance Fredericksen.
Reportedly, Kadance Fredericksen was a member of the National Honor Society, the Baker Gatorettes Dance Team, and a former Miss Okaloosa County Teen USA winner.
Florida Highway Patrol said Kadance Fredericksen was driving a sedan eastbound on Highway 4 at Hurricane Lake Road when she collided head-on with a sem-tractor trailer.
Fredericksen was killed in the crash.
The driver of the truck, a 56-year-old Milton man, sustained minor injuries in the collision.
An investigation to determine the cause of the collision is underway.

Santa Rosa County, FL – An 18-year-old girl died in a head-on collision on Monday afternoon in Santa Rosa.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Road 4 near Hurricane Lake Road at around 1:30 p.m.
The teen was driving a sedan when she collided head-on with a tractor-trailer.
The unidentified girl was killed in the collision.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
