Jeremy Lujan was reportedly trying to walk across the road outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle.

Santa Fe, N.M – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Santa Fe early Sunday morning, according to a report by the Santa Fe Police Department.
The incident was reported at about 2:25 p.m. on March 23, on Cerrillos Road near Richards Avenue.
A pedestrian was reportedly trying to walk across the road outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim was found lying in the street and was pronounced deceased.
The victim has been identified by police as Jeremy Lujan, 34, of Santa Fe.
The involved driver fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian.
The suspect was operating a vehicle believed to be a silver pickup.
The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the accident.
