Chicago, IL. – Jamie T. Cerney, 38, has been identified as the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a car following a multi-vehicle collision on Monday night in Chicago.

According to the police, the accident happened around 11:14 p.m. in the 5200 block of West 63rd Street.

A white Infiniti sedan reportedly sideswiped a black Infiniti sedan. One of the vehicles hit a Nissan that was traveling in the same direction.

The impact of the collision caused the Infiniti to jump a curb and hit Cerney.

The Chicago man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The man driving the white Infiniti was transported to the hospital. A female passenger of the Infiniti was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.

The man driving the black Infiniti was hospitalized as a precaution.
