Traffic delays near the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Beardsley Road on March 20th were the result of a deadly crash in Peoria between a pick up truck and a four door sedan.A woman in her mid-70’s was killed, a 75-year-old man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries; also, a 25-year-old man experienced only minor injuries.
Extensive damage required extrication of the victims from their vehicle.
Police concluded their investigation of the accident scene and removed lane restrictions just before 7 p.m.
