Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Police Department has identified a pedestrian killed earlier this month on South Kolb Road in Tucson as 65-year-old Cody Lawrence Hill.
The accident was reported on South Kolb Road, just south of East Broadway, on the evening of January 19.
According to the Tucson Police Department, Hill was struck by a northbound 2007 Jeep Liberty while attempting to cross the street.
Emergency responders transported Hill to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The police said mid-block crossing was a major factor in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
