Marana, AZ – A man was arrested on DUI charges following a school bus collision that injured four people, including three teens, near Marana on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The wreck happened on Interstate 10, near Tangerine Road shortly after 1:30 p.m. April 1.
According to the report, Nicolas Luis Rodriguez, 30, was driving an SUV eastbound on I-10 when he suddenly changed lanes and collided with a Kingman school bus carrying 40 people.
The bus then left the roadway, struck the median barrier, and rolled over.
Three high schoolers and one adult were taken to hospital for treatment of serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
One of the injured victims was identified as Bobby Liberto.
Rodriguez was arrested and booked on three counts of aggravated assault.
He was booked on a $100,000 bond. The incident is under investigation.
