Miami Gardens, FL. – A 22-year-old Hispanic woman was killed after a traffic collision on Thursday morning in Miami Gardens, according to the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened a while after 5:00 a.m. on April 23, at the Northwest 199th Street and Seventh Avenue intersection.
Deputies said the woman was heading eastbound on NW 199th Street in a gray Hyundai Sonata and ran a red light crashing into a Miami-Dade County transit bus, which had a green arrow while making a left turn onto NW 7th Avenue.
The woman was declared dead at the crash site.
A bus passenger complained of injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
