Indianapolis, IN. – A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened in the 100 block of West Thompson Road near South Meridian at around 3 p.m.
A westbound white sedan on West Thompson swerved to avoid other vehicles and struck two pedestrians.
Both pedestrians were taken to the hospital, where the man was pronounced dead.
The female pedestrian sustained critical injuries.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
