Peoria, AZ. – A student was injured after being struck by a police vehicle on Thursday morning in Peoria, according to the police.
The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. near the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Shangri La Road in front of Peoria High School.
Police said a Peoria High School student was riding a scooter when they were struck by a marked Peoria PD patrol vehicle.
The student was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
