
Okaloosa County, FL. – A 28-year-old man from Crestview was killed following a motorcycle accident early Sunday morning in Okaloosa County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on State Road 85 and State Road 123 at 2:42 a.m. July 6.
Troopers said the motorcycle was heading north on State Road 85 and was heading towards the entrance ramp connecting to State Road 123 when the rider lost control of the bike and veered off the roadway.
The motorcyclist then overcorrected, hit the guardrail and overturned on its left side.
The 28-year-old Crestview man riding the motorcycle died in the collision.
Troopers said he was not wearing a helmet at the time.
An investigation is underway.
