Marana, AZ – At least two people were killed when two planes crashed at an airport in Marana on Wednesday morning, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The wreck happened at about 8:25 a.m. February 19, at the Marana Regional Airport.

According to the report, two smaller fixed-wing single-engine planes, a Lancair and a Cessna, collided in mid-air near runway 12.

Two people aboard one of the planes died in the incident.

Two other parties involved were not hurt.

 The FAA and the NTSB are investigating to determine the cause of the wreck.
