The 35-year-old Apopka woman driving the sedan and a 61-year-old Tennessee man driving the sedan were killed in the accident
Glades County, FL. – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in Glades County.
The accident happened around 1:08 p.m. on State Road 78 near U.S. Highway 27, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A sedan and van were traveling east on State Road 78 when the sedan drove into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming truck.
The collision sent the truck into the path of the van, and the front of the sedan struck the side of the truck.
The 35-year-old Apopka woman driving the sedan and a 61-year-old Tennessee man driving the sedan were killed in the accident.
The 45-year-old Miami man who was driving the truck suffered minor injuries in the crash.
