Putnam County, FL. – A 45-year-old Haines City man was killed in a car crash early Wednesday morning in Putnam County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Road 19 near Marion Street.
An SUV was traveling southbound when it drifted into the opposite lane and collided with a tractor-trailer.
The SUV driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The 61-year-old Ocala man driving the tractor-trailer was not injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
