A vehicle traveling north on Jones Boulevard changed lanes and struck a bicyclist who was also traveling north
Las Vegas, NV. – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car on Friday night in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Jones and Carmen Boulevards.
A vehicle traveling north on Jones Boulevard changed lanes and struck a bicyclist who was also traveling north.
The bicyclist, a 62-year-old Las Vegas man, was ejected from the bicycle and was hit by another vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
