The truck driver continued southbound but made a U-turn and returned to the scene
Albuquerque, N.M. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a truck on Friday night in Albuquerque.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. at 2500 2nd Street SW.
A blue Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on 2nd St was traveling southbound when it struck a pedestrian.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver continued southbound but made a U-turn and returned to the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
