Tempe, AZ – One person was killed and another severely hurt after multiple vehicles collided on 10 Freeway in Tempe Saturday afternoon.
The deadly crash happened just before 1 p.m. on February 22 on Interstate 10 near Broadway Road, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Arizona DPS said two people were transported to the hospital with severe injuries, where one of them died.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 were temporarily shut down as officers investigated the crash but later reopened at around 4 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
