Clovis, N.M. – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a vehicle on Saturday evening in Clovis.
According to the Clovis Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 4:54 p.m. at the intersection of Llano Estacado Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
A car was traveling east on Llano Estacado Boulevard when it collided with a motorcycle that was traveling south on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The impact sent the car off the roadway and into a field.
The rider was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center before being transferred to a Texas hospital.
The driver of the car was unhurt.
