Todd Rigby serves as Trial Team Leader for Arizona at Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys. Based in Phoenix, he brings more than 35 years of litigation experience to representing people who have suffered serious injuries and families facing the loss of a loved one. His practice includes wrongful death, commercial vehicle collisions, premises liability, and product liability matters.
Before joining Lerner and Rowe, Todd was a partner at a prestigious nationwide insurance defense law firm for many years, where his practice included defending large companies in complex injury litigation. His career has included representing businesses in the transportation, hospitality, and retail industries. He now brings that breadth of experience to advocating for injured individuals and their families.
Decades of defense work sharpened Todd’s ability to evaluate evidence, anticipate disputed issues, and prepare cases for trial. That experience informs how he examines liability, works with expert witnesses, and addresses challenges to medical causation and damages. His approach centers on developing the evidence in each client’s case and explaining clearly how an injury has changed that person’s life.
Todd has handled hundreds of complex cases and served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials. His experience extends to leading an Arizona accident-response investigation team, litigating through trial and representing clients in the appellate process. As Trial Team Leader, he brings this courtroom and litigation background to the firm’s Arizona trial practice.
Todd has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent rating and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in the categories of Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Litigation. These honors reflect the experience he developed over a career that now focuses on representing injured plaintiffs.
While attending the University of Illinois College of Law, Todd taught Business Law to undergraduate student as a Phi Beta Kappa teaching assistant. After graduation and throughout the years, he has served as a faculty presenter for continuing legal education programs and has led presentations on key litigation issues for clients throughout the country.
Todd is admitted to practice in Arizona state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
