According to statistics provided by NOCC, each year over 15,000 women die from ovarian cancer. For the second year in a row Lerner and Rowe Gives Back proudly supports the organization and their 5th annual NOCC- Valley of the Sun Chapter’s Walk/RUN used to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer.
Tempe, AZ. (September 10, 2013, ) – Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys announce their proud sponsorship of National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC)- Valley of the Sun Chapter’s 5th Annual Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer through their non-profit foundation, Lerner and Rowe Gives Back. The 2013 fundraising walk/run takes place Sunday, September 22, in Tempe, Arizona at the north soccer field area of Kiwanis Park. All funds raised support NOCC’s local and national ovarian cancer awareness and education programs used to improve survival rate and also, quality of life for women with ovarian cancer. So, don’t wait.
“NOCC– Valley of the Sun Chapter’s run/walk in 2012 raised over $74,000 to help fight and also educate people about ovarian cancer,” said Kevin Rowe, Esq., founder of the Lerner and Rowe Gives Back foundation. “For the second year in a row Lerner and Rowe Gives Back is so honored to be part of NOCC’s efforts to provide support and encouragement to those who are currently battling cancer, those who survived their bout with cancer and the memories of loved ones who are no longer with us. ”
Walker/runners may participate in a one mile fun run or a 5k walk or run. There will be refreshments and activities for all ages.
