Hillsborough County, FL – A bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle in Hillsborough County on Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 8:50 p.m. January 25, on U.S. 41 south of Pennsylvania Avenue.
According to the FHP, a 28-year-old Riverview woman was driving a Toyota RAV4 northbound on U.S. 41 when she hit a bicyclist that entered into her path.
The rider was killed in the collision.
The driver of the RAV 4 was unhurt. An investigation into the collision is ongoing
