Deputies said a black SUV operated by a 64-year-old woman was traveling northbound when a dark-colored sedan travelling eastbound crashed into the SUV.

Chicago, IL. – A woman was killed after a hit-and-run vehicle accident on Sunday morning in the Grand Crossing, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The accident occurred at around 2:42 a.m. on May 24, in the 6900-Block of South Stony Island Avenue.
Deputies said a black SUV operated by a 64-year-old woman was traveling northbound when a dark-colored sedan travelling eastbound crashed into the SUV.
Police said the woman was declared dead at the crash site
The black SUV driver fled the scene after the accident.
No additional details regarding this crash were provided.
