Waukegan, IL.- At least one person was injured following a two vehicle accident in Waukegan.
The accident occurred on August 13 at the intersection of Northwestern Avenue and Sunset Avenue.
Initial reports indicated that the collision involved two vehicles that sustained moderate damage.
Emergency crews responding to the accident also confirmed that one occupant was trapped inside a truck following the collision.
Responders worked to extricate the trapped person from the vehicle while additional emergency resources were requested to assist crews at the scene.
At least one person was reported injured in the accident. Authorities have not released information regarding the severity of the injuries or whether the injured person was transported to a hospital for additional treatment.
