Authorities said two sedans were heading northbound when one vehicle changed lanes into the other vehicle. The vehicle that did not change lane lost control and veered into the southbound lanes crashing into a truck.
Pinal County, AZ. – 17-year-old Toby Harper and 19-year-old Haley Davis were identified as teens killed in a traffic collision on Thursday last week in San Tan Valley, Pinal County.
According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on June 26 near Gantzel Road near Skyline Drive.
Authorities said two sedans were heading northbound when one vehicle changed lanes into the other vehicle. The vehicle that did not change lane lost control and veered into the southbound lanes crashing into a truck.
Harper, the vehicle driver and Davis his female passenger sustained multiple blunt force injuries and were declared dead at the scene.
Authorities did not believe impairment contributed to the crash.
An investigation is underway.
