Daviess County, IN. – A passenger was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday in Daviess County.

According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Highway 50 at Troy Road.

60-year-old David Love, of Francisco, was driving a 1974 Jeep Renegade northbound on Troy Road when he reportedly pulled into the path of a westbound 2017 Jeep Cherokee driven by Ronelle Linneweber, 39, of Vincennes.

65-year-old Thomas Wirts was riding in the Jeep and was ejected. He was transported to Daviess Community Hospital in critical condition.

Police determined that Love’s blood alcohol level was above the legal limit and was charged with DUI.

More details about the accident were not released.
