The accident occurred around 1:53 a.m. on September 5 near 500 North University Drive.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to the three people involved in the collision.
All three people were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities said one of the occupants later died from injuries sustained in the accident.
