Illinois State Police said two people were injured following a three vehicle accident Wednesday on Interstate 64 in St. Clair County.
St. Clair County, IL.- Two people were injured following a multi vehicle accident Wednesday in St. Clair County, according to Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred on July 15 at milepost 25 on eastbound Interstate 64 near MidAmerica St. Louis Airport.
Troopers said the collision involved three vehicles and blocked all eastbound lanes while emergency crews responded to the scene.
At least two people were transported to a local hospital with injuries.
Authorities have not released information regarding the identities or conditions of those injured.
Eastbound traffic was diverted onto Illinois Route 4 while crews worked to clear the accident scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
