Troopers said a motorcyclist was killed following an accident involving a car Thursday afternoon on Trent Avenue in Spokane Valley.
Spokane Valley, WA.- One person was killed following a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon in Spokane Valley, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident occurred around 4:35 p.m. on July 23 on Trent Avenue near Milepost 9 on State Route 290.
Authorities said the collision involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle.
The accident partially blocked Trent Avenue before authorities closed the roadway between Pines Road and Evergreen Road while emergency crews responded.
Motorists were advised to use alternate routes during the closure.
Officials have not released the identity of the person who was killed or confirmed whether anyone else was injured.
The roadway reopened at approximately 8:22 p.m.
The accident remains under investigation.
