South Bay, FL.- Two people were killed and two others were critically injured following a head on accident Saturday afternoon in South Bay.
The accident occurred around 3:22 p.m. on August 1 on U.S. 27.
Initial reports indicated the collision involved a tractor trailer and a smaller passenger vehicle.
The two adults inside the smaller vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two teenagers survived the collision and were airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center with critical injuries.
Authorities have not confirmed the relationship between the teenagers and the two adults who were killed.
The accident remains under investigation.
