Troopers said several people were injured after a head on accident early Monday morning on US 90 near River Burch Road in Midway.
Midway, FL.- Several people were injured following a head on accident Monday morning in Midway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred around 5:15 a.m. on July 13 on eastbound US 90 west of Midway near River Burch Road.
Troopers said a car traveling westbound left its lane, crossed the grassy center median, entered the eastbound lanes, and collided head on with a truck.
Both vehicles spun before coming to a stop in the median.
All occupants of both vehicles were transported to a local hospital with injuries ranging from minor to critical.
The eastbound inside lane of US 90 was closed for about an hour and a half while crews responded to the scene.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
