Mesa, AZ – The authorities have identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash caused by a suspected impaired driver in Mesa Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Seth Hoffman.
According to the police, 59-year-old Danica Zunich was driving a car westbound on University Drive when he attempted to make a left-hand turn onto South Extension Road and failed to yield to a motorcycle that was going eastbound.
Hoffman, who was operating the bike, and his female passenger were transported to the hospital. Hoffman was pronounced dead at the hospital. The woman reportedly suffered serious injuries but was in stable condition.
Zunich was not injured. Police said charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault will be pending the completion of the investigation and toxicology results.

Mesa, AZ – A male motorcyclist was killed and his passenger was seriously injured in a collision that happened in Mesa on Saturday night, according to the Mesa Police Department.
The wreck took place near Extension Road and University Drive at about 9:16 p.m. on June 28.
Two people were riding on a motorcycle that was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
One of the motorcycle riders was killed in the accident while the other was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
